Google Makes Gemini Omni Video Creation Free for All Accounts
Google is expanding access to Google Vids so anyone with a Google account can generate high-quality HD videos at no cost using the Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash model and new creative controls.

In a post by Justin Luk, Google said it integrated its newest AI models into Google Vids. The company is bringing video creation to everyone with the Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash model and new creative controls.
Google stated that users can direct their story from the first concept to the final export. Features let users extend scenes with smooth transitions while keeping visual context, lighting, characters’ appearance and the environment consistent. Users can set the exact duration of generated clips so they align with the story and voiceover.
Google Vids can create brand-new AI video scenes in full 1080p HD or upscale existing AI clips. The controls adapt to creative goals such as using ready-to-use video templates for product launches, turning pictures into promo videos, producing content for landing pages and social announcements, or creating videos for local events and fundraisers.
Every clip generated with Omni 1.1 in Google Vids includes an imperceptible SynthID digital watermark embedded into the video frames. This allows viewers to verify that content was generated with AI.
Coming soon, Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite text-to-speech in Google Vids will turn any script into a natural-sounding voiceover across 100+ languages.
Users can start by visiting vids.new on desktop and selecting “Create AI videos” from the creation menu. For more access to AI video generation on a personal account, Google AI plans are available. Workspace Business and Enterprise plans include expanded generation pools and centralized admin controls.
