Anthropic has filed to list its shares on the stock market. News organisations reported that the filing shows sharply rising revenue and sets out risks for investors.

The maker of the Claude chatbot reportedly posted $11.6 billion in sales for a quarter. Its valuation could reportedly reach up to $2 trillion.

Among the dangers it reportedly flagged to investors are its clash with the Trump administration and AI systems acting on their own. According to reports, Anthropic also warned that AI could bring catastrophic or existential harm to humanity if appropriate safeguards, oversight and security are missing when it is built, deployed and run.
